The Detroit Lions were able to strike first against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday to give them an early 7-0 lead. After scoring first versus the Colts, a crazy stat involving the Lions was shared on the broadcast of Detroit's game.

Before the Lions got possession of the ball, they were able to block a punt by the Colts, giving them prime field position. Then, following the turnover for Detroit's special teams, Matthew Stafford delivered a 25-yard pass to Marvin Jones for a touchdown.

While it gives the Lions an early lead over the Colts, it was shared that Detroit has now scored first in all seven of their games. Surprisingly enough, Detroit is the only team in the NFL that has been the first to score in all of their contests.

Coming into Sunday's game, Matt Patricia's squad is on a two-game winning streak. Even though it's been a hot and cold campaign thus far, it's safe to say the Lions are a team that likes to get on the scoreboard first.
