After trading away Davante Adams, many were concerned for the Green Bay Packers. The front office hasn't selected many wide receivers early throughout the history of this franchise, but the team is in a good spot moving forward. However, there are a few areas where the organization can improve. For that reason, we discuss three areas the Packers must address to improve the roster after the 2022 NFL Draft.
The starting lineup is stacked throughout, so Green Bay will likely be one of the best teams in the NFC. However, the roster could use some veteran help to improve their depth. Two areas of concern are the offensive line and cornerback room. If the front office can find some veteran depth in those spots, then the Packers will be in a great situation entering training camp.
Additionally, Green Bay has a chance to give themselves an explosive offense. Although the front office acquired some solid receivers in Sammy Watkins and Christian Watson, the Packers might want to consider signing one more free agent. If the front office can make one more splash signing in free agency, then Aaron Rodgers and this offense will continue being one of the best in the league.
With that said, here are three moves the Packers must make to finalize their roster after the 2022 NFL Draft.
Packers Moves After 2022 NFL Draft
3. Add veteran depth to the offensive line
The offensive line isn't bad right now, it's just the group lacks consistent depth. Green Bay brought in several rookie linemen who will surely battle it out in training camp. However, the Packers could use some more immediate help in the trenches. The starting group is decent, but signing a veteran could go a long way in this team's success in 2022.
Look for the Packers to potentially sign one more offensive lineman. Although Green Bay brought in rookies at left guard and right tackle, they could use at least one veteran to help increase the competition in camp. If the front office can do that, this offense will be rolling on all cylinders next season.
2. Acquire a veteran cornerback
Green Bay has built a solid defense and should be one of the best in the league next year. After taking Devonte Wyatt and Quay Walker in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Packers are going to be hard to score against. Even so, the secondary could use some depth to support the starting cast.

Jaire Alexander, Rasul Douglas, and Eric Stokes hold down the starting positions. Outside of those three, the Packers cornerback group could use some help. Someone like Joe Haden, Kyler Fuller, or Chris Harris would be an incredible signing for Green Bay.
1. Sign Odell Beckham Jr.
The front office did a great job acquiring guys like Sammy Watkins and Christian Watson to the roster. Watkins is a great veteran who can fill a void until Watson is ready for a larger role. However, the Packers are in a Super Bowl window, and signing a big-name receiver would be huge for this franchise. Odell Beckham Jr. could be the missing piece for Green Bay's Super Bowl run in the 2022 season.
Now, Odell Beckham Jr. is recovering from an ACL injury he sustained in the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams. He won't be back until somewhere between October and November, depending on how his body heals. Regardless, he'd be a great addition to the Packers' roster once he returns in the middle of the season. The idea of Aaron Rodgers and Odell Beckham Jr. pairing up just has Green Bay fans drooling.
