Aaron Rodgers isn't playing the Super Bowl on Sunday after the Green Bay Packers lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship game, but it seems that Rodgers is making strides in his personal life.

Rodgers is reportedly dating actress Shailene Woodley after the recent split from race car driver Danica Patrick over the summer. Patrick and Rodgers were together for a couple of years before splitting ways over the summer. Rodgers also dated actress Olivia Munn for three years before Patrick.

Maybe the split with Patrick is a reason why Aaron Rodgers performed as well as he did, and it seems he was happy.

“I have just a new and increased love of life,” he said on the Pat McAfee Show. 

Rodgers is the favorite for NFL MVP after having a terrific year despite losing in his second straight NFC title game. He finished 2020 with 4,299 yards and a career-high 48 touchdowns as the Packers finished with the top seed in the NFC and held a home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, but lost to Tom Brady and the Bucs on a questionable ending to the game.

The two have managed to keep things pretty quiet and the couple is a bit of a surprise to many people, with some wondering just how serious this relationship is with Aaron Rodgers and Woodley, star of Big Little Liars.

Rodgers also said he made decisions that put him in “a lot better headspace” in that same interview with McAfee, and maybe his relationship with Woodley was one of the reasons why.
