Packers Divisional Playoff Game Predictions

4. Davante Adams destroys 49ers secondary

Davante Adams has proven to be the top wide receiver in the NFL over the past few seasons. Adams was unstoppable in the Week 3 matchup against the 49ers, catching 12 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown.

The most impressive part was his catches down the stretch. Green Bay got the ball down 28-27 with 37 seconds left in the game. Rodgers and the offense had no timeouts, making it a difficult drive to get in field goal range. However, they were able to get down the field into field goal range with two connections from Rodgers to Adams. Mason Crosby then kicked the ball through the uprights to win the game.

This drive showed that even with the 49ers keying in on Adams, they still could not stop him and Rodgers. He should have a similar performance in this pivotal playoff matchup.

3. Returning players have big impact

The Packers have the unique circumstance of getting back multiple vital players back for their playoff run. Wide Receiver Randall Cobb and Right Tackle Billy Turner are set to return for Saturday's game while others may return.

Left Tackle David Bakhtiari and Cornerback Jaire Alexander are questionable, who would come in and instantly elevate the team. They could also get help with the pass rush as Za'Darius Smith, and Whitney Mercilus will be activated tomorrow if they are going to play.

Getting back all of these guys would make the roster whole and give them more firepower in this playoff matchup.

2. Aaron Rodgers has dominant performance

Despite all the offseason noise, Rodgers and the Packers are in a great spot. They will have homefield advantage until the Super Bowl, assuming they make it that far. Green Bay will have a tough task at hand against the red hot 49ers.

He is the favorite to bring home his 4th and second consecutive MVP award. Rodgers threw for 4,115 yards along with 37 touchdowns and only four interceptions.

Although Rodgers has struggled against San Francisco in the playoffs in years prior, he should still win this game. In their Week 3 matchup, Rodgers threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns. He also led the game-winning drive with clutch throws to Adams.

Rodgers is great at leading his teams when it matters most, and he will do so against the 49ers.

1. Packers win, advance to Conference Championship

The Packers have come up short of the Super Bowl two seasons in a row but have made it past the Divisional Round every season under Matt LaFleur.

While the 49ers are rolling, Green Bay has the talent and scheme to beat anyone in the NFL. Despite all of their injuries this season, the Packers finished with the best record in the league.

This game could come down to the very end, but Rodgers and the Packers should come out victories and head to their third straight NFC Championship Game.
