Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named the NFL MVP for the fourth time on Thursday night at the NFL Honors ceremony. Rodgers' announcement as the league's MVP was met with comments, both by the Packers star and his head coach, about his future in Green Bay with rumors swirling around the NFL about a possible exit. Rodgers' backstage comments after winning the NFL MVP award might just be hinting at a return to the Packers.

After being named the NFL MVP, Aaron Rodgers told NFL Network reporter Taylor Bisciotti that while there are plenty of decisions for him to make this offseason, he's had some “good conversations with the Packers recently.”

While it's hardly a definitive statement, it's still a good sign that Rodgers and the Packers are having good dialogue with each other.

The Packers have publicly expressed that they badly want Rodgers to return next season- and why wouldn't they? Green Bay has won 13 games in each of the last three seasons- and while they haven't had a Super Bowl title to show from it, they've still put themselves in position to win one year after year.

The four-time NFL MVP may not find a better situation than the one he currently has. While he hasn't made a decision yet, Aaron Rodgers' latest comments seem to suggest the beginning steps of a process that will have him back in a Green Bay uniform next season.
