Rodgers is coming off of what was, by far, his best performance of the season, completing 25 of his 31 passes for 429 yards and five touchdowns in a 42-24 win over the Oakland Raiders.
On the season overall, Rodgers has thrown for 2,019 yards, 13 touchdowns and a couple of interceptions while completing 64.8 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 103.7.
Rodgers got off to a rather rough start over the first three weeks, completing just 61.3 percent of his throws and failing to even throw for 250 yards in any of those games, but he has since kicked it into gear.
Article Continues BelowSince then, Rodgers has thrown for 422, 238, 283 and 429 yards, respectively, and has completed 66.9 percent of his passes during that span.
The Packers' offense is looking better and better, and over the last three games, Green Bay is averaging 33 points per game, an impressive feat considering that No. 1 wide receiver Davante Adams has been sidelined with a toe injury.
As the Packers continue to improve, Rodgers' MVP case keeps getting stronger, and the fact that Green Bay is tied for the second-best record in the NFC helps his case, as well.
The Packers will now head on the road to take on a Patrick Mahomes-less Kansas City Chiefs club next Sunday.
