Other than Davante Adams, the Green Bay Packers don't have any big names at wide receiver, but that doesn't mean Aaron Rodgers isn't a fan of his guys.
One receiver in particular that Rodgers likes is Allen Lazard, who figures to have an increased role within the Packers' offense heading into 2020:
“By the end of the season, he was called upon many, many times in important situations to make big plays and he did,” Rodgers said of Lazard, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com. “He’s just a great teammate, and ascending player, loved his approach every week and he made some big-time plays for us.”
Green Bay re-signed Lazard to a one-year deal earlier this offseason.
Lazard, who played his collegiate football at Iowa State, went undrafted in 2018 but eventually landed with the Packers as a free agent.
He played in just one game during his first season, logging one catch. Then, this past year, Lazard appeared in every contest and caught 35 passes for 477 yards and three touchdowns.

The Packers have not really addressed their hole at wide receiver this offseason. They signed Devin Funchess to a one-year contract in free agency, but they completely ignored wideouts in the NFL Draft.
Perhaps Lazard will compensate for Green Bay's lack of overall depth at receiver next season.
The Packers won 13 games, captured the NFC North division title and made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game before losing to the San Francisco 49ers this past year.
