Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers will have a long offseason ahead. After their premature exit in the NFL Playoffs, his relationship with actress Shailene Woodley also went out the door. They got engaged last year, but Rodgers has now missed out on not one, but two rings.

The split only adds to the uncertainties in Rodgers' future, which, of course, involves his tenure with the Packers. But for one NFL legend, one thing's pretty clear. Chicago Bears icon Dick Butkus trolled Rodgers once again on Twitter after his breakup with Woodley:

Butkus' joke may not sound funny to Rodgers and the Packers faithful, but it sure did get a lot of traction.

This isn't the first time the 79-year-old Butkus, who won back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year trophies in 1969 and 1970, took a swipe at Rodgers. When the Packers bowed out in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs against the San Francisco 49ers, Butkus also made his happiness known.

Butkus' antics could be attributed to the long-standing rivalry between the Packers and Bears, so perhaps the five-time All-Pro First-Team member just wants to keep the good-natured competition going.

After all, Butkus can talk all the smack he wants. Though at the end of the day, he will never have what Rodgers has: A Super Bowl ring.
