Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been slinging touchdown passes and letting defenders know about it afterwards since he became the team's starter in 2008. Rodgers' favorite way to rub in a score is well known by fans and opponents alike- his belt celebration, or the discount double-check, for all the State Farm aficionados out there.
Well, many defenders have came for Rodgers and his belt celebration over the years. Appearing on the Pat McAfee show Tuesday, Rodgers sent out a warning to past, present and future offenders of the sacred discount double-check.
Aaron Rodgers on @PatMcAfeeShow: "There haven't been a lot of positives that have come from guys mocking the belt over the years."
This year, Robert Quinn, Chandler Jones and Jamal Adams have done it. Packers then beat the Bears, Cardinals and Seahawks.

Ahh. So, Chicago Bears defensive end Robert Quinn, Arizona Cardinals defensive end Chandler Jones and Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams were all brave enough to challenge Rodgers for the belt this year- and each of them were denied.
This is too much of a pattern to be a coincidence, much like the fabled Manning brothers curse. And Rodgers himself is adding to the myth by sending out a proverbial warning shot. Hell hath no fury like Rodgers scorned after a defender mocks his belt celebration.
Who will be the next Pro Bowl-level defender claimed by the belt curse? With the Packers' upcoming matchups against familiar foes such as the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams, there should be no shortage of victims, er, defenders, for Rodgers to choose from.
