This comes after the Green Bay Packers beat the Seattle Seahawks 17-0 in last week's contest. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has never been shut out in his career as a starting quarterback until the Packers came into town. The Packers have only given up 28 points as their most points allowed in a game this season. They have allowed less than 20 points in six of their games. The Packers have held elite offenses, including the Arizona Cardinals to only 21 points, and the Kansas City Chiefs to only 13.
If the Packers can continue playing defense like this throughout the season, the chance of them losing in the playoffs with Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback is going to be extremely low. Rodgers is known for putting points on the board and he also knows how to do it quicker than anybody in NFL history.
The Packers will take on a tough Minnesota Vikings team on Sunday. The Packers come into this one 8-2 on the season and the Vikings come in 4-5. Green Bay is sitting in a great position as they have a lengthy lead in their division. A win against division-rival Minnesota would be the icing on the cake and would help Green Bay roll into the playoffs.
