The Green Bay Packers have been managing on offense without Davante Adams and they'll have to do so again in Week 8. According to Adam Schefter, Adams is not expected to play versus the Kansas Chiefs, but he could return next week against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Since injuring his toe in Week 4, Adams has missed the previous three games with the Packers. Now, it appears as if the Pro-Bowl wideout will be inactive for his fourth consecutive game of the season.
Before going down with an injury, Adams accumulated 25 receptions for 378 yards in his four starts. Adams somehow hasn't caught a touchdown. But his last game against the Philadelphia Eagles showed that he's still one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
While Adams has been sidelined, Green Bay has done a remarkable job replacing his production. Furthermore, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Geronimo Allison, Jake Kumerow, and Allen Lazard have all seen increased roles in the aerial attack.
Even Jimmy Graham seems to be rejuvenated in his second season with the Packers. Above all, Aaron Rodgers is beginning to get extremely comfortable in Matt LaFleur's offense as the season progresses.
Just last week, Rodgers had his best game of the season against the Oakland Raiders. The Packers' franchise quarterback threw for 429 yards and five touchdowns to defeat the Raiders 42-24. Despite not having Adams, Rodgers was able to post the first game of his career that he posted a perfect passer rating of 158.3.
This week, Green Bay will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to square off against the Chiefs. In the event that the Packers take down the Chiefs; they could be getting Adams back in the offense with a 7-1 record. The rich could be getting even richer.
