Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' decision on his playing future is perhaps the biggest storyline in the NFL offseason. Rodgers' decision could single-handedly change the landscape of the NFL, whether he is traded to another team or opts to return to Green Bay.
The Packers star has been reluctant to make any definitive statements on his future, insisting that a decision will come at a later date. However, Rodgers may have dropped a subtle hint with his recent comments on quarterback coach Tom Clements during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, as reported by NBC Sports.

I mean, Tom — I owe him so much credit for my development. So I’m happy to see him back in the game. The game is better when Tom Clements is coaching because he’s one of those special, special coaches.”
Tom Clements, who was just hired by the Packers to be their quarterback coach, goes way back with Aaron Rodgers. The two were together in Green Bay from 2006-2011, during the time when Rodgers helped lead the Packers to the Super Bowl.
Now, the star quarterback is indicating that “the game is better” when Clements is coaching, certainly a good sign for his future. Rodgers clearly has a special connection with Clements, one that could be vital to the Packers' chances of keeping him in Green Bay.
A team like the Denver Broncos has seemingly been pulling together as many Rodgers' connections as possible to their coaching staff in a likely effort to woo Rodgers. However, judging by Rodgers' recent comments on Clements, the Packers may have secured the most important coaching hire of all.
