Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams continues to make progress for his return from a turf-toe injury suffered in Week 4. He is now a game-time decision to play in Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

I think it could go right up to game time, to be truthful,” said coach Matt LaFleur on Wednesday on Adams' chances of playing on Sunday, per Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Post-Gazette.

Adams did participate in Wednesday's practice, albeit in a limited fashion. According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, the wide receiver went through stretching for the first time since suffering the injury. He then went inside with trainer Bryan Engel, reportedly to test some new shows.

Adams, a two-time Pro Bowler, has watched his team win three-straight games since he suffered the injury in a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Despite the winning streak, the Packers are likely clamoring to get the star receiver back.

Adams has a connection with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Defenses can't discount the duo when on the field together. They will find each other. Though the offense appears to be growing without him on the gridiron, it can only get better with him in.

In four games in 2019, Adams has 25 receptions for 378 yards and no touchdowns. In 2018, he played in all 15 games while racking up 111 receptions for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns in the process.

The Packers have depended on the likes of Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Geronimo Allison, Allen Lazard and Jake Kumerow with Adams out. They have been scary while doing so. Imagine how good they can be with him back in-fold?
