The Green Bay Packers have seen their 2018 campaign continue to head south after falling to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night 24-17, which marked their sixth straight road loss to begin the year.
Their struggles on the road have extended beyond this season, having lost eight consecutive games away from Lambeau Field dating back to last year, which has been the longest in nearly four decades, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Packers now have lost eight straight road game, their longest streak since losing nine straight road games in 1978-79.

It was yet another disappointing outing for the Packers that saw them once again have much difficulty finding any consistency on the field.
Article Continues BelowTheir offense struggled to put up points against the Vikings, registering just three scoring drives that saw star quarterback Aaron Rodgers have plenty of issues moving the ball down the field in the passing game as he completed 17-of-28 passes for 198 yards and a touchdown.
Despite those issues, the game was tied 14-14 at the half with the opportunity for them to gain separation, but they were unable to do so against the Vikings' defense, only putting up a field goal in the second half that came late in the fourth quarter.
That overshadowed another solid outing from second-year running back Aaron Jones, who had 72 rushing yards on 17 carries with a touchdown. Nonetheless, the Packers are now in a huge hole trying to get back into the playoff picture for one of the final Wild Card spots.
Green Bay is currently a game back of the last Wild Card position with the Washington Redskins, Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers, and Philadelphia Eagles all vying for that spot. That has put the pressure on them to have to win out for the final five games of the year to even have a chance to be in play for a playoff spot.
