Jordan Love started for the Green Bay Packers in their Week 9 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, it looks like he's heading to the bench as Aaron Rodgers returns from COVID-19.
As Love confirmed on Friday, the Packers' plan is to move him back to the bench with Rodgers set to be taken off the COVID-19 list on Saturday–one day before their game against the Seattle Seahawks. The 23-year-old signal-caller will be ready in case the reigning MVP isn't able to suit up, but for now, he's back to backup duties.

But for me, it's the same. Still playing the whole week and then we'll be ready for whatever happens.”
While there were initial expectations that Aaron Rodgers won't suit up for the Packers in Week 10 because he's coming off recovering from COVID-19 and missed practice in the process, the Packers have made it clear early in the week that he's still their QB1 and top choice to start against the Seahawks.
Rodgers did share there is a “small possibility” he misses the Week 10 game again, but obviously, that might only happen if he feels his body is not yet ready to play after dealing with the dreaded virus.
For now, Jordan Love will have to wait and see if another opportunity to start will arise.
