Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur has had his chance to speak on the recent comments made by Aaron Rodgers on The Pat McAfee Show earlier on Friday, and he basically chose not to comment. Sometimes not speaking actually tells more about the situation than anything, which is certainly what is going on here.

LaFleur's eye-rolling is certainly due to the pent-up frustration that himself and the rest of the Packers organization and fans must feel about Rodgers. The man just comes across as self-centered, and this whole situation is just the icing on the cake that people have needed to validate their feelings about him. Like it or not, Rodgers has brought this upon himself with his trade demands and now with his lying (or at least close to it) to the world about his vaccination status. It is no surprise that LaFleur said he will probably not be watching the footage, as the quotes coming out of it are cringe-worthy enough.

Before the rocky relationship with the Packers, Rodgers has also lost contact with his own family and burned bridges with numerous ex-teammates who feel he completely shuts them out if they criticize him. His reputation is as a selfish person and, unfortunately for him, it is starting to look like that reputation is earned.

Rodgers is right about one thing, and that is everyone has the right to decide their vaccination status. But, as is the case in any workplace in America, no one has the right to endanger others with their lies. He not only did that but has refused to take responsibility for it. The fact that Rodgers has yet to apologize for what he did is reprehensible, but not surprising if you think about his history.
