Thursday night's matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals was set to be a classic. Now, a 6-1 team led by Aaron Rodgers is just trying to scrap a lineup together for the game.
Tons of key contributors are already on injured reserve for the Packers and this week they were hit with positive COVID tests. Green Bay wideout Randall Cobb spoke out on the situation, per Rob Demovsky and Matt Schneidman.

Cobb's role will certainly be elevated for this one with the Packers already putting Davante Adams and Allen Lazard on the COVID list and Marquez Valdes-Scantling still on injured reserve and having his status for the game remaining foggy. That's the top three wideouts for Green Bay, two of whom will certainly be out. Cobb noted it will provide a bigger opportunity for he and rookie Amari Rodgers.

Defensively, the Packers will already be without All-Pro's in Jaire Alexander and Za'Darius Smith and the statuses of Preston Smith and Kevin King remain up in the air for Green Bay. Defensive coordinator Joe Barry won't be coaching in the game as he too, tested positive for COVID-19.
It's not exactly the matchup now that many anticipated it would be but that doesn't mean the Packers can't find a way to navigate around all the chaos. With Aaron Rodgers under center, they always have a shot. The deck is just severely stacked against them heading into this one.
