Before Thursday's matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers noted that he wants to get the ball to wide receiver Davante Adams. In less than a half of play, he's shown he's doing just that.

Before the Packers received the ball with less than three minutes left in the second quarter, Adams had seven receptions for 147 yards in the game. For context, that's more than the entire Eagles offense.

One of those receptions came on a classic Rodgers play: Rodgers exploiting an offsides penalty from Philadelphia by turning it into a free deep shot on third-and-10.

There's something about that Rodgers hard count. It helps that he gets to pass to Adams, who, in the first half, made light work out of a lowly Eagles secondary. Though not possessing a touchdown in the first half, Philadelphia won't forget the name “Adams.”
