The Jacksonville Jaguars are headed to the AFC Championship Game to face the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots on Sunday after a thrilling win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
With everything seemingly heading in the right direction for the Jaguars, the team got quite a scare on Tuesday. Reportedly, rookie running back Leonard Fournette was involved in a car accident, which is the last thing the team wants to hear at this point.
According to Jaguars PR, the 22-year-old was in a minor car accident. Fortunately, he's okay.
RB Leonard Fournette was involved in a minor accident today when his car was rear-ended.
Leonard is okay and was able to drive home.
Appreciate everyone that has reached out to check on him.

With Fournette coming away from the car accident uninjured, the rising star and the team can continue to focus on their upcoming matchup with arguably the best team in the NFL. Fournette is likely to play a major role in whether Jacksonville can get by the Patriots and live up to Jalen Ramsey's guarantee of winning a Super Bowl.
Fournette was the driving force behind the team's offensive explosion against the Steelers in the divisional round. The LSU product carried the ball 25 times for 109 yards and three rushing touchdowns.
In the same way he did in team's first meeting with Pittsburgh, Fournette dominated from start to finish and was the difference maker for the Jaguars. Jacksonville ultimately got the best of a veteran Steelers team, 45-42.
The Steelers simply had no answer for the up-and-coming running back who has now helped lead Jacksonville to be one game away from the Super Bowl in Minnesota. New England will without a doubt be their toughest challenge of the season and having Fournette healthy will be crucial to the team's success on Sunday.
