It's just week two of the NFL season but Myles Jack of the Jacksonville Jaguars is calling this weekend's game against the New England Patriots the most important game of his life.

“It’s definitely the most important game of my life,” Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack told reporters via WEEI.

This is a rematch of last year's AFC Championship game and the winner will have an upper hand on home field advantage, something the Patriots held last year. It's also a chance for the Jaguars to get some sort of revenge against the team that cost them a chance at the Super Bowl appearance.

Jack knows how big of a jump on the Patriots this would give the Jaguars and he is ready for the big challenge ahead.

“The magnitude of the game … we want to go 2-0 on the season. We feel like we’re going to be in the playoffs, so we want so to gain homefield advantage. We feel like if we can get a win on them, that would be huge … the most important week of my life, for sure.”

The Jaguars were up by ten points during the AFC Championship game before blowing the lead and eventually losing the game. Although, they could have held on had Jack's fumble return for a touchdown not been waved off because he was incorrectly called down.

Nevertheless, that loss has left a sour taste in their mouth and has helped the team stay locked in all offseason and prepare for the season and this game. That's all too evident with Jack's comments, which could also see him and the rest of the Jaguars playing with an added edge in their rematch against the Patriots.
