Jacksonville Jaguars superstar cornerback Jalen Ramsey has requested a trade. Now, it appears the Jaguars have made him available.
As expected though, the asking price is high – very high.
According to Albert Breer, the Jaguars are asking for two first-round picks.
Per rival clubs, the asking price for Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey is two first-round picks.
That's a starting point. And added to what it'd cost to extend Ramsey, it's a lot. But it's not totally crazy, given what Seattle got for Frank Clark and Miami got for Laremy Tunsil.

At first glance, two first-round picks will always seem like a lot. However, look at the player a team would be getting.
Ramsey has been a superstar since he joined the NFL four years ago. He's considered the best cornerback in the league by a lot of people and is the definition of lockdown.
Yes, he has his issues as well. Many haven't liked the way he has handled some things in the past (including some stuff this year). He is still just 24 though. Ramsey has more than enough time to mature and might not have even hit his prime yet when it comes to his on-field ability.
Any team would absolutely love to have Ramsey on their defense, and that's why the starting price is so high. The Jaguars know they can set the price there and teams will still come calling.
For now though, Ramsey is still with the Jaguars. This trade request has definitely brought in a lot of news, but in reality nothing has changed.
All this has done is speed up the process. Ramsey leaving Jacksonville has seemed like a forgone conclusion for quite some time. Now it's absolutely imminent.
All that's left to be done is to wait and see what team decides that the price is worth the reward of having Ramsey on their team. Don't be surprised if a few teams feel that way.
