On Friday night, news broke that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was on his way to the Buffalo Bills via a blockbuster trade. The Steelers have a fractured relationship with Brown, and have been looking to move the star for weeks.
However, the trade fell through. Brown reportedly had no interest in playing for Buffalo and would not commit to showing up for the team. This means one of the league's top trade chips is back on the market.
The Oakland Raiders have shown interest in Brown since day one. And while the asking price for Brown is still very high, the team is still very much involved.

Don't count the Raiders out of the Antonio Brown sweepstakes just yet. Wouldn't be surprised if they re-enter the picture if Steelers, Brown bring their demands down a bit. We know Jon Gruden loves Brown, but would Brown show up in Oakland?

Oakland reportedly offered Pittsburgh second and fourth-round picks for Brown. This fell short of the Steelers' reported request of a first-rounder. However, the Raiders have three first round picks in the 2019 Draft, and if they are willing to deal one they could become the clear frontrunners for Brown.
But the second part of the equation is whether Brown would play in Oakland. The Raiders and Jon Gruden are in a strange position, coming off of a 4-12 season and with an uncertain future. The franchise is also set to move to Las Vegas.
Brown, 30, led the league in touchdowns last seasons with 15. He also tallied 104 receptions for 1,297 yards. The seven-time Pro Bowler has two more guaranteed years left on his contract before his 2021 out, according to Spotrac.
Any deal for Brown would not be made official until March 13th at the earliest, when the new league year begins.
