The Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs played arguably the game of the year Thursday night. However, it was not all excitement. During the opening possession of the game, Chargers tight end Donald Parham Jr. attempted a catch in the back of the end zone. He came down to the ground and hit his head.

Parham Jr. was seen with his hands out, appearing to be unconscious. It was a very scary moment. Parham Jr. lay on the ground, motionless for a few minutes before being carted off the field. Parham Jr. was sent to the UCLA Medical Center shortly there after for further evalation.

Late in the game, the Chargers provided an update that hopefully is a good sign.

According to the organization, Donald Parham Jr. is currently undergoing tests, imaging and evaluation for a head injury and is in stable condition.

The fact that Parham Jr. is in stable condition is at least a good thing.

The Chargers ended up losing 34-28 in overtime, but that does not matter compared to the health of the Chargers tight end. People from all walks of life, including NFL players, are praying for a full recovery. All thoughts and prayers are with Donald Parham Jr. and his family.
