Although the Los Angeles Chargers may be coming off a disappointing loss to the Carolina Panthers, it was not going to prevent defensive tackle Damion Square from having some fun with the restrictions placed in response the the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Square poked fun at a reporter for taking part in a press conference from bed, via the team's Twitter:

Players and the media have grown accustomed to the Zoom conferences that have taken place since the offseason amid the ongoing pandemic. While players are still obligated to go about their day-to-day business, beat reporters have clearly had the luxury of being able to work remotely.

Obviously, we mean luxury relatively speaking. Reporters would clearly prefer to be working on location, not forced to work from home due to a global pandemic. Still, it has resulted in numerous fun jabs between reporters and players over the last few months.

The Chargers have their work cut out if they hope to prevent a losing streak on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4. Aside from trolling reporters, Damion Square has acknowledged that the onus will fall on the defense to start creating turnovers if they hope to get back into the win column.
