According to Around The NFL's Tom Pelissero, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback  Justin Herbert was a full participant in practice Thursday despite a hand injury that has clouded his availability for this Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles and has had fantasy football managers on pins and needles.

Barring anything unforeseen happening, expect to be able to deploy Justin Herbert this weekend as a high-end QB1 in fantasy football. The second-year quarterback has been setting Chargers records left and right since the second, he stepped foot on an NFL field. The Philadelphia Eagles defense has not shown it has the ability to stop the passing game.

Herbert will also have his full complement of weapons this week as Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Austin Ekeler have all practiced and are ready for Sunday.

On the season, Herbert has thrown for 1,994 yards and 16 touchdowns with six interceptions and a fumble. He will need to stop turning the ball over once a game if he is going to take his team and his fantasy managers to the promised land. Turnovers have always been a killer in fantasy football and in real life, so this is nothing the Chargers don't know already. What is also of huge importance is the team's red-zone conversion percentage.

NFL teams want touchdowns and not field goals once you are past the 20s. This has been a bubbling issue for the Chargers for a few weeks now and it finally came to a boiling point. Even normally relaxed head coach Brandon Staley was visibly upset with Herbert and the offense's general ability to punch it in after last week's loss to the New England Patriots, going as far as to say “For me, it's about finishing drives with touchdowns. I like what I'm seeing from our offense from a production standpoint. But from a finish and scoring standpoint, that's where we can improve.”
