Tom Brady was able to give the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a lead after facing a double-digit deficit, but Justin Herbert isn't going down without a fight. The rookie quarterback of the Los Angeles Chargers would fire back at Brady with a 72-yard touchdown toss to Jalen Guyton to take a 31-28 lead.

While the Buccaneers forced pressure on Herbert, the first-year quarterback was fading backward. Nevertheless, he delivered a pinpoint pass to Guyton, hitting the quick wideout in stride for the go-ahead touchdown.

Herbert has performed well in his third start, completing 18 of his 22 attempts for 279 yards and three touchdowns. Not many rookie passers can say they've gone toe-to-toe with arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history.

Even though the Chargers are down Mike Williams and other members of the offense, Herbert continues to deliver for them under center. They'll need more from the first-round pick if Los Angeles hopes to upset Brady on the road.
