Melvin Gordon is starting to show why held out from the Los Angeles Chargers: he is a very good running back. On Thursday, while putting on a show in front of the Oakland Raiders fanbase, he recorded a first-half touchdown to put his team on top in a big divisional game.

Watch below. Gordon rushes up the middle, then pushes the pile (along with his numerous teammates) to power through the Raiders' defense and get the touchdown.

As of the touchdown, Gordon has 14 rush attempts for 66 yards and a score. In addition, he has one reception for 25 yards. The two-time Pro Bowler is beginning to shake off the rust; that's a scary sight.

After ending his holdout, Gordon got his 2019 season off to a slow start. However, as of late, he is looking the part of a Pro Bowler. Last week, in a win over the Green Bay Packers, he rushed 20 times for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
