Chargers Week 10 Predictions

4. Chargers defense shuts down Justin Jefferson

It's been a rocky season for both franchises, but this is a great matchup. Justin Jefferson aims to string together two big performances as he takes on the Chargers stifling secondary. Los Angeles must be at the top of their game to slow down the Vikings' rising star.

To do so, the Chargers will want to get into Kirk Cousins's face. A solid pass rush can disrupt the best passing attack. Additionally, LA will have to get creative and find ways to get Justin Jefferson uncomfortable. If the Chargers can manage that, they'll have a nice advantage throughout the game.

3. Mike Williams bounces back with a 2 touchdown performance

After going absolutely bonkers to open up the NFL season, Mike Williams has nearly fallen off the face of the earth in terms of production. Maybe opposing defenses are scheming up game plans to keep Williams uninvolved or the Chargers just stopped throwing his way. Regardless, Los Angeles needs Williams to get involved if they hope to be a playoff contender late in the season.

2. Austin Ekeler records 150+ all-purpose yards

He's been one of the more consistent offensive weapons for the Chargers this year. Through eight games, Austin Ekeler has recorded 804 total yards from scrimmage along with eight total touchdowns. It's been an impressive season and that should continue against the Vikings.

Minnesota is much better than their record says. Therefore, the Chargers can't take this team lightly. Look for LA to get Ekeler involved early and often, as he is a major contributor to this offense.

1. Justin Herbert goes off for 350+ passing yards and 5 total touchdowns

It's been an up and down season for the 2020 Rookie of the Year. Even so, Justin Herbert still plays at a high level and gives the Chargers their best chances of winning. After watching the Vikings fall apart to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9, we should see Herbert and the Chargers pull through with a win. For that reason, we could see Justin Herbert light up the field with a stellar performance.
