Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff has been the model of inconsistency this year for quarterbacks in the NFL. Some weeks he looks like one of the better quarterbacks in the league and the next he looks like a guy who needs to be holding a clipboard and take a few weeks off. He has a tough showdown this week against the Chicago Bears and could prove a lot with a good performance.

So which Goff is going to show up? Let's break down three bold predictions for his performance on Sunday Night Football.

3. Jared Goff throws less than two scores

Jared Goff hasn't thrown more than two touchdowns in a game this season and in five of his nine games, he has scored one or less. The Bears have one of the best defenses in football and although they are a little better against the run than the pass, they will still make Goff's life tough. Two games ago in a loss, the Bears still only gave up one touchdown to Carson Wentz.

In this game, it's going to be hard for Wentz to get the ball into the end zone, and he won't throw more than a touchdown.

2. Goff throws three interceptions

One thing that Goff is going to have no trouble doing during this game is giving the ball back to the Bears. Earlier this year against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Goff threw three interceptions, and in two other games, Goff threw two picks.

The Bears only have six interceptions on the season, but Goff is going to make their life very easy. After last weeks game, Goff is going to be really pressing to try and make the perfect plays and move the ball, which is going to result in him making the worst decisions.

Look for Goff to finish this game with at least three interceptions.

1. He finishes the game on the bench

There have been questions raised about if Goff is the answer for this team and those questions are going to only grow louder after this performance.

Goff and his turnovers are a big concern and at some point during this game, Sean McVay is going to decide to make a change and bring in Blake Bortles.

Next week, the team will probably start Goff again and give him another chance, but at least for part of this game, the Rams are going to get a look at what Bortles can offer them.
