The Los Angeles Rams are set to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI. The players have been preparing for the game for the past two weeks, but Odell Beckham Jr has another thing on his mind.
The wide receiver is going to be a father any day now, and he is “on standby” and needs the baby to wait just a couple more days. The Athletic senior writer Lindsay Jones tweeted the news Friday afternoon.
Odell Beckham’s partner is due to have their son any minute now. “I’m on standby,” Beckham said. So, what if that call comes Sunday morning? “I’d have to make a call back to him and ask him to wait 36 hours.”

When asked what he would do if the birth of his first child overlaps his Super Bowl appearance, OBJ said, “I'd have to make a call back to him and ask him to wait 36 hours.”
The Rams receiver joked that he would return his unborn son's phone call and tell him to wait until after the Super Bowl and its festivities were done. Clearly, that isn't possible, and he knows that…so what will he do if the huge life moments actually overlap?
