Coming as absolutely no surprise with the New England Patriots fresh off yet another Super Bowl victory, the debate has already begun — are the Patriots the greatest sports team of all time?
Well, with Super Bowl LIII and the team's latest victory — a 13-3 over the Los Angeles Rams — not even 24 hours old, it appears as though at least one major entity thinks that New England cannot be topped.
According to an article in the latest edition of Sports Illustrated, the world-renown publication indeed believes that the Patriots are the greatest team the sports world has ever seen.

The Patriots have now won six Super Bowl titles while reaching the NFL's biggest stage on a whopping nine different occasions.
“Then they did win, and in some ways it felt like a capstone, an emphatic statement that meant more even than the previous titles,” the article later explains. “For years, Belichick and Brady had been described as the best coach and the best quarterback of all time. But their sixth title spoke to something greater—something less about any one part of how they ended up here and more about the totality of this unparalleled run.”
Not only has New England managed to win two of the last three NFL championships, but the AFC East powerhouse has also won three of the last five as well.
