The Giants offense mustered just seven points a week after scoring a measly three against the Chicago Bears. After the Giants-Washington game, we'll be releasing our Giants Week 18 takeaways.

New York was bad in every facet of the game, as they turned the ball over three times while the defense was embarrassed on the ground, allowing over 200 rushing yards. With the defeat to Washington, New York put the finishing touches on their fifth straight losing season, signaling the need for change in East Rutherford.

3. The offense was lifeless once again

A week after putting up a historically bad performance against the Bears, the Giants offense was punch-less once again, as they produced just 177 total yards while scoring seven points. New York has now scored 26 points in their last four games combined, which is nearly what Washington scored in this game alone. That is truly pathetic. Yes, the Giants have injuries, yes, they were playing with backups, but so are other teams in the NFL. The bottom line is, New York's offense didn't get it done and they haven't been able to for quite some time. Giants fans deserve better.

2. The defense couldn't stop a nosebleed

The Giants defense was actually solid against the pass. However, they couldn't stop the Football team's ground game, as Washington ran for 226 rushing yards, with Antonio Gibson accounting for 146 of them. Washington averaged over six yards per carry against New York's matador-run defense, which managed to make the Football Team's offense look like a playoff-caliber unit. The Giants weren't playing for anything on Sunday, but it was a chance for New York to show some fight in the last game of the season. Instead, they did the exact opposite, especially on defense.

1. Joe Judge embarrassed the Giants and their fans

Joe Judge made a promise to the Giants and their fans when he was named head coach. He promised that New York would field a team that would make the region proud. Then, a year ago, Judge renewed his vow when he called out Philadelphia Eagles coach Doug Pederson, saying that as long as he was head coach of the New York Giants, they would always play hard and never disrespect the game. Well, Judge must have forgotten his promise, as that's not what New York did against Washington. The players looked like they had run out of fight. Even Judge himself seemingly admitted defeat with an egregious decision to opt for a quarterback sneak on a third-and-long at his own goal-line, essentially waving the white flag to Washington. Judge embarrassed the Giants and their fans on Sunday.
