Although free agency started just two weeks ago, the market has since been plucked dry of all its big names. However, the New York Giants shocked the NFL landscape after reportedly making wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. available for trade.

Needless to say, the rumors have been met with its fair share of naysayers. Among them is Giants defensive tackle Damon Harrison, who did not mince words when it came to Beckhem Jr.'s potential departure with a post on Twitter:

It’s that one clown who always tries to make something out of nothing just to attach his name to it. I’m 1000% sick of him. The thought of him makes me want to vomit.

Harrison is likely referring to Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News, who was the first to break the news. While Harrison's comments may have been a bit harsh, he does have some reason to be a bit disgruntled with leaked rumors in the past.

Leonard was also the same reporter that said former New England Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia was set to become the next head coach of the Giants. However, Patricia ultimately wound up choosing the Detroit Lions gig instead. That said, it is fair for Harrison to take the Beckham news with a grain of salt.

Furthermore, the prospect of losing one of the best wideouts in the NFL has become hard to believe even for the common fan. However, it remains t be seen whether or not the Giants confirm they were fielding offers from potential suitors like the Los Angeles Rams.
