Peppers says that Manning is getting on his nerves during practice because even when Peppers is trying to disguise something, Manning figures it out and still beats him.

People forget he’s a two-time Super Bowl-winning MVP. I don’t know how you could go against that, a guy who’s won at the highest level twice, that’s just not smart to me.
“I know last year people said he had this or whatever problem but … Eli’s still got some years left in the tank.”
It's good to hear that guys on the Giants still believe in Manning because most on the outside feel that he is pretty washed up and on his way out. This offseason Manning worked with a pitching coach in hopes to improve his arm strength, and maybe that is something that can prolong his career.
If he starts to struggles and his arm is looking weak, it won't take long for fans and the New York media to start to make calls for Daniel Jones to take over as the starter.
