Landon Collins and New York Giants face off with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football and he thinks the key to victory is getting Dak Prescott to pass the ball. Prescott really struggled to hit his receivers against the Carolina Panthers throwing for only 170 yards and failing to record a touchdown.
Collins wasn't exactly taking a shot at Prescott but trying to say that the Giants need to stop Ezekiel Elliott. If they can frustrate Elliott and get Prescott to have to throw the ball to win, Collins thinks the Giants have a great shot at winning.
“We really got to focus on stopping Zeke, making sure that we're playing our gap assignments, making sure we close the air out of their running game,” Collins told reporters Wednesday in the locker room, via ESPN. “If we do that, put the ball into Dak's hands and I think we have a better shot at winning.”

This a big year for Prescott as the team tries to decide if he is the quarterback of the future and so far it hasn't been off to a good start. He had issues making accurate passes last year and that has continued into this year. Last year when the Cowboys played the Giants without Elliott in week 14 it was Prescott who had no issues beating them. He threw for 332 yards and three touchdowns and that led to a 30-10 victory.
This can be a little more fuel to add to the fire for Prescott as he tries to prove that he is the right guy to lead the Cowboys.
