The New York Giants have seemingly reached rock bottom en route to plummeting to the cellar of the NFC East division.

However, as pointed out by a recent article from The Athletic, the Giants have churned out some seriously impressive single-season efforts by individual players over the course of the last few years.

In fact, the Giants have become the most credentialed team in the NFC East over the course of the last five seasons — in terms of postseason achievements, anyway.

The metric of postseason accolades, as used by the author, puts the Giants as the NFC East leader in this category at the end of the 2018-19 season. “Postseason accolades” refers to any end-of-season honor such as a Pro Bowl selection, All-Pro selection, rushing/passing/statistical leader, All-Rookie Team, etc. at any point over the past five years.

Former Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (2014-2016), former safety Landon Collins (2015-2018), current wide receiver Sterling Shepard (2016), current tight end Evan Engram (2017), current nose tackle Dalvin Tomlinson (2017), current running back Saquon Barkley (2018) and current guard Will Hernandez (2018) round out such a list for New York.

Of course, the Giants are lightyears away from contending in the NFC East division, especially after most recently trading the aforementioned Beckham Jr. to the upstart Cleveland Browns.

Not only that, but both the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles continue to build their respective rosters en route to producing impressive seasons in 2018-19.

More specifically, the Eagles are now just two seasons removed from winning the franchise's first ever Super Bowl title with the Cowboys winning the division a season ago.
