The New York Giants have fallen into a deep hole through the midpoint of the 2018 season after dropping seven of their first eight games. This has put them squarely in the trade rumor mill that has seen All-Pro wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. mentioned as a possible player on the move. According to Matt Lombardo of NJ.com, Beckham Jr. has voiced that he doesn't believe that he will get moved by the team prior to the Oct. 30 trade deadlne.

“[My name] was tossed around in the offseason, and I'm still here,” Beckham said following Sunday's 20-13 loss to Washington. “I don't think I'm going anywhere. This is where I'm at. All I want to do is be the very best that I can be. Off the field. When I'm on the field. It's really hard to think about that. It is what it is.”

Pressed by NJ Advance Media about whether this is where Beckham wants to be here, he nodded and repeated “It's where I'm at.”

Things have quickly gone south for the Giants this season that has seen Odell Beckham Jr. has had some questionable actions and words that have been a bit head-scratching for the franchise. He has called out his teammates and play calling offensively while voicing that he didn't know if he was committed to the team for the long haul.

This had all come after he had inked a record-breaking deal for a wide receiver on a five-year, $90 million deal with $65 million guaranteed. These comments and actions have worked him a bit out of favor with the team that has seen his name mentioned in trade rumors. Beckham Jr.'s continued non-commitment in responses about his future is certainly not encouraging for the franchise.

Nonetheless, only time will tell if the Giants do pull the trigger on moving their star wide receiver prior to Tuesday afternoon.
