With rumors saying New York Giants superstar Odell Beckham Jr. icould be up for a trade, the timing of this tweet is nothing if not suspicious.

The tweet, which featured a zipper-faced emoji with a smiley-face next to it, has sent NFL Twitter into a frenzy. While some believe this is a sign that he knows something that he can't reveal, there's also some speculation that this is all just to get people talking about him (because any publicity is better than no publicity).
Hey @obj are you ready to come play in Cleveland with @bakermayfield and @God_Son80 ?

Ian Eagle says the #Browns should trade for Odell Beckham, Jr.
"From a personality standpoint, it has been overblown that he would affect the locker room" https://t.co/Lw3BkhkbSg pic.twitter.com/Umrbgw7NqM

But we’ve been through this dog-and-pony show with OBJ for a while now.
Doubt the Giants quit him. Need to build around Saquon and Beckham.

According to USA Today, the latest rumors suggest that Odell Beckham Jr. could be traded by the Giants to the Oakland Raiders.
“Last offseason, there were rumblings that the Giants were considering trading the All-Pro receiver. Ultimately, that didn’t happen, and Beckham went on to catch 77 passes for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns despite playing in just 12 games. Beckham finished the season as Pro Football Focus’ 36th-ranked player in the NFL in 2018. On the field, Beckham is a fantastic fit in Jon Gruden’s offense. His ability to run slants and make plays after the catch is what makes him such a special talent. In Gruden’s West Coast offense, it wouldn’t be a shock if he caught 120 passes or so.”
For what it's worth, Beckham Jr. is in his prime and has been a huge piece for New York since he was drafted. He's a franchise-changing player who will bring value to whatever team he ultimately ends up on, and the Giants would be well-served to do what they can to keep him on board. However, it could go either way, and we'll keep you apprised of what ultimately happens.
