New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley pulled off a fantastic athletic feat during his team's week 3 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, soaring over numerous defenders and the goal line for his first touchdown of the season.

Barkley's athleticism was on full display. The 24-year-old's hang time was reminiscent of Michael Jordan floating in a dunk contest, seeming as though he was actually on an upward trajectory as he dived over a pack of Falcons.

It's a refreshing sight for Giants fans, as it proves Barkley didn't lose his hops as a result of his torn ACL, which he suffered back in week 2 of the 2020 season against the Chicago Bears. The above play marks his first touchdown since 2019. Prior to the injury, Barkley was a rookie sensation, winning Offensive Rookie of the Year and making his first Pro-Bowl team in 2018. The Giants selected Barkley with the no. 2 overall pick in 2018.

Barkley finished the game with 16 rushing attempts for 51 yards. On the season, he's attempted 39 rushes for 134 yards through three games.

The Giants would go on to lose to the Falcons 17-14, falling to a disappointing 0-3 on the season. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan went 27-36 for 243 yards and two touchdown passes.
