The New York Giants made a splash move in NFL free agency by signing Kenny Golladay to a multi-year contract and they have their sights on some aid in the secondary. After bolstering their offensive unit, the Giants are focused on signing Adoree Jackson, per ESPN's Jordan Schultz.

Jackson was recently released by the Tennessee Titans due to salary cap reasons, allowing the former first-round selection to choose where he wants to play next, with the Giants looming as a possible destination. In his first three seasons with the Titans, Jackson accumulated 188 combined tackles, three forced fumbles, 33 pass breakups, and two interceptions.

However, during the 2020 season, Jackson played in only three games due to a knee injury. Tennessee originally picked up Jackson's fifth-year option for the 2021 campaign, only for them to move on from the USC product instead of retaining him for another year.

The Giants are among the teams making a push for Jackson this offseason, with guys like Jabrill Peppers and Darnay Holmes recruiting the athletic cornerback. By signing Jackson, New York would have a viable No. 2 cornerback to go alongside James Bradberry, who they signed last offseason.

Teams in the NFC East have been active this offseason, especially the Giants and the Washington Football Team. Washington signed Ryan Fitzpatrick and Curtis Samuel in hopes to bolster their passing attack.

At the same time, the Dallas Cowboys signed Dak Prescott to an extension and have one of the best wide receiver trios in the NFL. Given the moves other teams in the NFC East have made, the Giants are keen on bringing in Jackson to improve their secondary moving forward.
