There is another NFL trade as teams across the league try and make their final roster cuts. The New York Giants and Cincinnati Bengals have made a swap involving a former first-round pick, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Trade: The #Giants are trading BJ Hill to the #Bengals and receiving former first-rounder Billy Price.

An interesting deal for both teams. The Giants are getting Billy Price to bolster their depth up front in an effort to protect Daniel Jones, who has been hit hard during the NFL preseason slate.
The #Bengals former first-round pick has been a key name in trade talks. The #Giants have been searching for OL depth. With Trey Hopkins rapidly improving health-wise, this makes sense for all parties. https://t.co/xTagpFq85f

In a surprising turn of events, Giants head coach Joe Judge mentioned that Hill would be traded on Monday morning, and what do you know, he was dealt shortly after Judge made the announcement.
Joe Judge says BJ Hill has been traded, but deal not finalized.

The Bengals will receive BJ Hill to help their defensive unit, and this deal makes sense for both sides in an effort to cut down their roster and make some decisions with the NFL regular season almost here.
After the Giants saw what has happened to Jones in the previous games, they need to find help to the offensive line before they risk injury to the former first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
This isn't exactly a major trade, but definitely a deal that will help both teams out as far as their team needs are concerned.
