On Monday, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. leaped over Pittsburgh Steelers star Antonio Brown as the highest-paid wideout in the NFL when he signed a titanic 5-year, $90 million contract extension with Big Blue.

On Tuesday, Brown took to Twitter to congratulate Beckham for opening a gold chest of his own. Along with his message is a video of him and Beckham greeting each other prior to a game.

Beckham’s extension deal easily eclipses the four-year, $68 million Brown inked last year with the Steelers. Whereas Brown’s deal included a $19 million signing bonus and $19 million in total guaranteed money, Odell Beckham Jr. has secured $20 million worth of signing bonus and a massive $65 million guarantee.

What’s amazing about Brown, though, is that he made himself, for a time, the best-paid receiver in the game despite being just a sixth-round selection back in the 2010 NFL Draft. Beckham, on the other hand, was always bound to hit financial pay dirt as a 12th overall pick in 2014.

Beckham is only one of the wide receivers who got their pockets stuffed with money this offseason. Back in March, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Mike Evans to a five-year deal worth $82.5 million. The Los Angeles Rams also gave Brandin Cooks a five-year extension worth $80 million.

Beckham will now look to reciprocate the Giants with astounding play on the field, as he prepares to bounce back from an injury that limited him to just four games in 2017.
