Clemson Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney was right about Deshaun Watson being a good NFL quarterback, and he feels like Tua Tagovailoa will be in a similar boat. Speaking to reporters leading up to the National title game, Swinney said he expects Tagovailoa to make a full recovery, and will be a great NFL player for someone.
“From a talent standpoint, he’s awesome. If I was in the NFL, I’d be taking Tua because he’s a winner and he’s a very savvy, smart, instinctive player,” Dabo Swinney said. “He’ll heal up and get well, and he’ll make a great player for somebody.”

Tua Tagovailoa was expected to be one of the first players taken off the board in April's draft before a devastating hip injury, that cut his junior season with the Crimson Tide short.
Article Continues BelowWhen healthy, Tagovailoa was one of the better college quarterbacks ever. He completed 180 of his 252 passes for 2.840 yards, 33 touchdowns, and three interceptions as a junior.
As special as he is there are some serious concerns about his durability that could cause some teams to take them off their draft board. Besides the hip injury, he has also dealt with numerous high ankle sprains during his time with the Crimson Tide. He elected twice to have surgery on his ankle to get back to the field.
NFL experts seem to be all over where the place with where Tua is going to be drafted, but if Dabo Swinney was in charge of the Miami Dolphins or Cincinnati Bengals, it sounds like he would draft him.
