Free agent wide receiver Antonio Brown shared a desire to play with pending free agent quarterback Tom Brady following the New England Patriots' AFC Wild Card Game loss to the Tennessee Titans.
Brady, 42, will be an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his storied NFL career, and uncertainty has only grown through the 2019 season into the shortened postseason for New England whether the six-time Super Bowl champion will retire or not—or suit up in a non-Patriots uniform.
Brown, a seven-time Pro-Bowl wideout whose controversial 2019 season included being traded to the Oakland Raiders in the offseason from the Pittsburgh Steelers and later waived and picked up by the Patriots, only to be waived after competing in one game alongside Brady, claimed he would “only want to play” with the future Hall of Fame quarterback next season.

Brown, a former receptions and receiving yards leader in the NFL, was accused of sexual assault, prompting the Patriots to waive the receiver. That lawsuit is still pending. It was rumored that a franchise could sign Brown after the trade deadline passed during the 2019 season, but no team took a flyer on the free agent.
In the meantime, Antonio Brown has turned into a recording artist and rapper, releasing a single this week along with using social media as a tool to harass his ex-Steelers teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Brady and the Patriots could part in 2020, although there is still plenty of speculation whether Brady will be back in Foxborough, Massachusetts. If that's the case, then Brown hopes to be back in a Patriots uniform, too.
