Dez Bryant is without an NFL home. As the season heads into Week 17, it doesn't seem likely that the former Dallas Cowboys superstar wide receiver will suit-up in the league in 2019. However, 2020 is a different case.
When asked on Twitter if he'd like to play for the Cowboys, Bryant, 31, said, “Yep for next year,” before listing off four teams that he'd like to play for as well, including the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, and Kansas City Chiefs.
Yep for next year… train real hard be a deadly weapon in the red zone if not I’ll try to see what’s up with these teams NO,NE,BAl,KC https://t.co/Q060lKt1Ye

Interestingly enough, Bryant is familiar with the Saints. In 2018, he signed with them mid-season. However, he didn't last long, as he tore his Achilles in practice before he could suit-up in a live game with them.
Since suffering the torn Achilles, Bryant has spent his time recovering from the injury. Though he wants to be on a team, he has been realistic, knowing that he must fully-recover before he will warrant legitimate interest.
Bryant noted that he would like to see himself being a “deadly weapon in the red zone” for whoever signs him. Before the Cowboys released him in 2018, he was just that, recording 73 touchdowns in 113 games played in North Texas.
Though he's coming off a torn Achilles, it's fair to wonder if Dez Bryant has something left in the tank. After all, it wasn't too long ago that the Oklahoma State product was dominating defenses with his physicality and athleticism. In his seven seasons before being released, he went to the Pro Bowl three times.
