The end of the NBA season is quickly approaching, and the playoffs are near. Contenders are starting to feel the pressure of being at their best. Teams want to be healthy, understand their roles, and take their game to another level. However, the Golden State Warriors are dealing with something a little different than usual.
They're a team built with young and old players, and there's some slight confusion about heading into the playoffs.
Center Kevon Looney doesn't think the younger guys feel the pressure of the playoffs approaching the way the veterans do, and rookie Moses Moody respectfully disagrees.
“I would definitely say there is that pressure of the unknown given that I haven't experienced the playoff,” Moody told ClutchPoints. “I wouldn't necessarily know why or exactly what we're up against, but I know it's something, and I know it's a lot. So with the unknown, there's still pressure to want to get it all together before whatever it is goes down.”
Over the last couple of weeks, Moody has become a viable option for the team. He's earned himself more minutes by hustling and knocking down open shots.

In Moody's last 12 appearances, he's averaging 8.1 points while shooting 52.2 percent from the field, and 43.2 from deep, according to NBA.com.
The pressure everyone is feeling is likely due to how poorly the team is currently playing. It's easy to say the problems stem from Stephen Curry being out with an injury. But there is certainly more going on with the team.
It won't be easy, but the Warriors have six games left to figure things out. Their next opponent is the best team in the NBA, the Phoenix Suns. A win at home against them could be a tremendous start in the right direction.
