Jamal Adams played phenomenal in his first game with the Seattle Seahawks, leading the team with 12 tackles in their 38-25 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
However, Adams was more impressed with the Seahawks' offense, as they scored 38 points. During his post game interview, Adams appeared to throw shade at his former team, the New York Jets, telling reporters that “he's not used to it,” meaning all those points scored (via The Seattle Times' Bob Condotta).

Adams proved he was on the top safeties in the NFL during his first three seasons with the Jets. The 24-year-old safety earned two Pro Bowl nods and was also named to the All-Pro team in 2019. However, despite the Jets having a top safety on their team, they still failed to have a winning season.
This past offseason, Adams grew frustrated with his contract negotiations, so he requested a trade.
The Jets eventually traded Adams to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for safety Bradley McDougald, a first-round and third-round pick in 2021, and a 2022 first-round pick.
Nevertheless, that wasn't only shade Adams threw at his former team. Adams also threw shade his previous defensive coordinator, Gregg Williams.
“I wasn't bored,” Adams said, per Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR.
Adams was referring to Williams' comments after the Jets traded him in June. Nevertheless, the Jets are still continuing to play dreadfully, even with their revamped offense. They lost to the Buffalo Bills 27-17 on Sunday, starting the season off 0-1.
As for the Seahawks. they'll be seeking to go start the season off 2-0 when they play the New England Patriots next Sunday.
