Beast Mode is back. His standard bell-cow workload is not. The Seattle Seahawks are going to ease Marshawn Lynch back into their offense.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Lynch “already impressed in practice and will be relied on in key situations.” However, the Seahawks are planning on giving him just 10-15 carries in “Sunday Night Football's” NFC West tilt with the San Francisco 49ers.

Lynch's lack of a workload on Sunday should come as no surprise. Until Monday, the 33-year-old was enjoying the retired life. Though he said he's been working out with his trainer recently to prepare for a comeback, he likely isn't in 100% game shape. The Seahawks are not going to risk injury.

Lynch may not get a heavy workload just yet, considering it may take him a while to get back into NFL shape. However, he should lead Seattle's run game, with Travis Homer and Robert Turbin also receiving touches. Homer, a rookie sixth-round selection, should get the majority of touches on Sunday, considering he's the only one of the three with game experience in 2019.

High touch count or not, it's going to be good to see Lynch back on the field on Sunday night. The Seahawks signed the legendary power back out of retirement after injuries struck their running back corps, with Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny out for the season with hip and ACL injuries, respectively.

The Seahawks will attempt to replace the production of Carson and Penny with one of the greatest running back in their franchise history.
