There have been some questions about whether the Seattle Seahawks should go into a rebuild mode and decide to move on from head coach Pete Carroll and franchise quarterback Russell Wilson. The Seahawks have not been playing great football at all this season, but they have had some unfortunate injuries and they do play in the toughest division in all of football.

Seattle is currently at 5-10 on the season and because of this, coach Carroll was asked what the future of this team holds. The Seahawks head coach was asked about the future during an appearance on ESPN 710, he had this to say,

“Not for one reason at all do I think we have to restart this thing,”

This is good news if you are a Seahawks fan even though the season did not go anywhere near as planned this year. There is still plenty of talent on that roster and the organization and coaching staff not giving up is always a great sign.

There are clearly areas that the Seahawks are going to need to improve on because they simply just aren't a good enough football team this year to compete in the NFC West. If they want to compete in that division once again, they're going to need to make a lot of moves this offseason. As crazy as it might sound, it could be time to let go of Russell Wilson and try to find another quarterback that's better suited for the future.
