The Seattle Seahawks prevailed over the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night in overtime. Following the game, Pete Carroll reacted to his team's dramatic overtime win over the 49ers.

The Seahawks were able to take a 24-21 lead with Jason Myers making a 46-yard field goal with one minute and 45 seconds remaining. Then, Jimmy Garoppolo was able to lead San Francisco down the field to give Caleb McLaughlin a chance to tie the game.
McLaughlin, who was signed just this week to fill in for Robbie Gould, delivered with a 47-yard field goal to take the game into overtime. After some dramatics and a missed field goal by McLaughlin, Russell Wilson did exactly what he's done for his entire career.
Wilson put together an impressive drive to get within field-goal range for Myers. By making the 42-yard field goal to take down the 49ers, Seattle improves to 8-2 and puts themself in prime position to win the NFC West.
On the other hand, there is no longer an undefeated team remaining in the NFL. Regardless of the outcome, the game between the Seahawks and 49ers was undoubtedly one of the best games of the season.
The biggest takeaway was that Seattle continues to be able to overcome early double-digit deficits. With Monday night's victory, Carroll's squad now has three wins that have come in games where Seattle was down by 10 or more points (most in the NFL).
The Seahawks put everyone on notice on Monday night, but Carroll knows that there is still plenty of football left to be played.
